With over a decade of experience on the airwaves and behind the decks, she’s built a career on connection, culture, and amplifying voices. Her radio and DJ journey began in the U.S. Navy, where she was selected for the Presidential Honor Guard and subsequently served as a military television and radio journalist for the American Forces Network (AFN).

After her service, she returned home to the Bay and quickly rose through the radio ranks, earning on-air roles as a co-host with JV on “The JV Show” at KYLD (WiLD 94.9), “Mornings With Renel & Christie” on KISQ (98.1 KISS FM). She is currently the nighttime host (7p-12a EST) heard nationally on PRIDE Radio for iHeart Radio, and and you can also hear her waking up the Bay Area daily on Classic Hits 103.7 FM (6a-10a PST), where she hosts Morning Drive with Christie Live, one of the only all-female morning shows in the country. Off the air, Christie is deeply committed to uplifting all spaces through music, visibility, and joy.

She has been a featured DJ and stage producer for San Francisco Pride and Oakland Pride. She served as the ingame and treehouse DJ for the Oakland Athletics and is a featured DJ for Olivia Cruises the LGBTQ cruise and travel company, and frequently spins for community-driven organizations like NCLR, Golden State Valkyries, Oakland Ballers, Generation Thrive and more. Whether she’s DJing a wedding with Heart of Gold DJs, hyping up the Oakland A’s, or MC’ing a community event. Christie always shows up with purpose, heart, and high energy.
