DJ Ashleyanne Krigbaum

Ashleyanne Krigbaum has two loves in her life: her radios and her record collection. For over 10 years, she's been a resident DJ in the Bay Area's soul music scene, as well as an anchor in the local podcast and public radio community. As a DJ, her speciality is rare soul from from the 1960’s (girl groups, Northern Soul, slow jams, and golden souldies) spun at 45 RPM. Her record collection is also rooted in new wave, indie rock, post punk, glam rock, funk, and 90's-00's twee pop.

Her weekdays are spent at KQED producing the arts & culture podcast Rightnowish. She has also made podcasts for Noise Pop, Salon, and recorded interviews for This American Life, Reply All, Radiolab, and more. From 2015-2018, she was a local, live-broadcast host of NPR's All Things Considered as well as KALW's podcast showcase The Spot. She's also an award-winning sound designer, comix junkie, and avid snail-mailer.
